Meh. The simplest thing would be for Sluka to stand up in front of a camera holding the 100K contract. He hasn't. Which means he doesn't have one, and he's as stupid as a no-longer virgin sorority girl for believing whispers in the dark, only realizing it on his walk of shame.

Agree you should get any promise for funds in writing (especially those coming from Las Vegas) but the argument can be made that any agreement in writing may be proof of an NCAA infraction. There doesn't seem to be any NIL rules in place and the NCAA could argue anything in writing is illegal.

The way I understand it, NIL money is coming from local and national companies and booster organizations, the school never has anything to do with it, which is what keeps the NCAA out of it? (And the NCAA should have been disbanded 70 years ago when it killed the NIT in a clear restraint of trade case)
