If New England wins their next two games the Patriots could be back to .500 and potentially tied for 1st in the AFC East. If they win three in a row they might even be in 1st all by themselves. Yes I am wearing rose colored glasses - why do you ask?... This speech is worth 3 minutes of your time... Baseball has really fallen from being the national pastime. How far? Monday’s exciting double-header between the Mets and Brave had to be played early in the day and be squeezed in as to not to interfere with two mediocre Monday Night Football games… Surprised the nicknames Silk Pony or Ron Mexico hasn’t become bigger pop cultural deals... Serious question: do you think anyone remembers Peter King? Funny how people can fade from mind in just a few months... Lying is as old as man itself… Davante Adams has asked the Raiders to trade him. This was the NFL’s worst keep secret but now its been made public that he has probably played his last game for Las Vegas. Now it becomes where does he go? And what does the team get in return for the star WR… And just like that, with the dockworkers strike in the news, interest in Season Two of The Wire is back at peak levels… Carnival Cruises reported $135 million more in revenue than the same quarter last year. They were expecting just $35 million but cruises are back. People are talking about them and there’s a network show about once again… Hopefully they’ll all be safely back on Earth today… Cool - after 15-years away the Orient Express will be back in 2025. That train experience remains one of my bucket list items… Good life advice…
