About this "Executive Order saying college degrees were no longer necessary for any federal job". The job I worked as a contractor (retired officer) required X years of experience at the next lower GS grade, or a post-graduate degree. Ridiculous.
Unless its a job that requires a specific science or computer level - it is ridiculous. Was never intended when civil service was implemented.
