Since so many of our pharmaceuticals are made in China, seems like they would have the final say in cost, regardless of the EO. So rather than lower prices in the US, why wouldn't Big Pharma just increase prices everywhere else?
Others nations would give Big Pharma the same free hand that we do (think that is a repercussion of the US allowing advertising of drugs). Think the Trump Administration is aiming to bring manufacturing of all strategic medical goods (like Ibuprophin) back to the US. Or at least diversify the supply chain from just China to China, India, and others.
Think prices in other nations will have to go up some to make up for reductions in the US.
