Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.
I may be among the few that still believe that Iraq did have WMD's and that Colin Powell was not lying to the UN. I am bothered that proof that these WMD's existed and may have been moved over the border to Syria has not been released or that those who may have fed Powell bad intelligence info have not been publicly named... There should be a phrase "Sauna Victorian" about a person who laughs at the Victorians for being prudes but at the same time will complain management if they see any adult naked in the sauna. They honestly don’t see the irony... Sad Funny because its true!... Have to wonder if Ezekiel Elliot chose New England because Mac Jones convinced him to play for the team... Jeff Landry has been elected Governor of Louisiana. This flips the seat from Democrat to Republicans and also flips the R's to having one more Governor than the D's... If you listen Sam Altman or Elon Musk for any amount of time it becomes obvious that both are geniuses and both have OCD and are on the Spectrum... I think it would be funny to enroll the Pope's email address with Emily's List... Going into today's game against the Raiders the Patriots have only scored 3 points in their last two games. This hasn't happened since 1992... Also funny because its true... Speaking of genius - is it genius to have a tall urinal, then a short urinal, then a tall urinal so no adult males have to pee next to each other if possible. Or is it better to have two talls next to one short to better protect kids from seeing a stranger's junk? Honestly conflicted on this... The Red Sox have finished last in the AL East for 3 of the past 4 seasons. Wonder if owner John Henry realizes that it's 3 strikes and you're out for most Boston fans. Especially the pink hats he so loves (not that I’m calling myself a pink hat but I am kinda done it the Sox)... Have to think that there's an alternative universe where Elon marries Amber Heard but she poison's him to become a Bond / Dr. Who villain in charge of satellites, self-driving cars, and chip implants in people's heads. Imagine the damage she could do in that universe...

You are not alone in believing Iraq was reconstituting their WMD programs. People are speaking with far too much certainty in their claims that the Iraq war was based on lies. Their claims rest on either forgetting or just ignoring the previous decade of history in that region. Saddam's Iraq constantly violated the sanctions imposed after the first Gulf War. They regularly targeted our jets enforcing the southern no-fly zone. He was an active sponsor of terrorism, both in compensating suicide bomber's families and in providing a safe harbor and training base for terrorists. They frequently refused UN inspectors access to locations suspected of being WMD sites. Intelligence agencies for several nations had multiple different data points of things Iraq was doing to obtain materials to rebuild their WMD program. After what happened on 9/11, it would have been grossly irresponsible to wait to address Iraq until they carried out an attack.
