In Re Oregon, no, it won't slow others for trying it. Consider Communism, Marxism, and Socialism. Failed, but has that stopped anyone lately for trying it again? There is a large segment who don't care, are totally ignorant, or think they can tweak it just a bit to achieve the success nobody else has.

Don't disagree with with Oregon point. Real lawful drugs hasn't been tried
I switched from DuckDuckGo to Brave. I like it.
