Think the abomination that was the 1,500 page continuing resolution is a good example why a Presidential line-item veto may be a good idea. Except in this case it wouldn't be lines that are vetoed but whole sections... The actual impact of government shutdowns... Murder hornets may be agone as a threat to Americans but it remains a good name for a band... Wow things really went from "deep fakes" to "mentally diminished" in a hurry huh?... Some are up in arms over DOGE and their goal of $2 trillion in cuts to the federal budget but keep in mind that as large as this number seems it is but a small fraction of the money the Biden Administration printed via Quantitative Easing (QE) that has largely been blamed for the big rise in inflation... Impact of government shutdowns in a nutshell... We are getting into he said - she said territory here. Disney settled a defamation lawsuit against Donald Trump for $16 million and suddenly we had anonymous reports that ABC News had agreed to a new contract to bring back George Stephanopoulos. Then we get a story in the NY Post saying Stephanopoulos was repeatedly told by producers not to use the word "rape" which he did repeatedly anyway and his egotism cost the network $16 million. Stand by my prediction that Stephanopoulos will "unexpectedly" step down to spend more time with his family... Patriots statement on Christian Barmore... Serious question: would it be better to buy a small house and a plot of land or an RV that you can move around to different locations?... Most surprising thing about the defamation lawsuit to me was to learn that Stephanopoulos is now 63. No longer the boy wonder. Where did the time go?... North Carolina reaps immediate dividends in the transfer portal. Now Alabama athletes are new choosing Bill Belichick and the Tar Heels... ESPN considers expanding Pardon the Interruption from a 1/2 hour to an hour after the cancellation of Around the Horn. This is a bad idea. Why mess with something that has worked for a quarter century... Slap Shot is a Christmas movie! The woman who played Hanrahan's wife in Slap Shot is the same woman who played the mom in A Christmas Story. Ergo... Has anyone ever seen an elementary or high school teacher riding the halls in a Rascal? I haven't. Isn't this sort of "fat shaming" against the very inclusion they try to teach? More obese teachers on Rascals in school! (Or just junk DEI)... And just like that the term “non-compos-mentis” - entered the national lexicon…

Land/RV. Do you want a quiet place to enjoy solitude or are you looking for adventures? Do you want loved ones to come visit you or do you want to go visit them (and leave when you want to!)? Is this preparation for when SHTF scenario? As they say, to solve the problem you must first clearly identify the problem. Good luck!
Land/RV: Other considerations of course, but the RV begins depreciating immediately. Land not so much. Land is closer to investment while RV is closer to liability. But again, other considerations exist.
Slap Shot: W H A T ??!! :-)
