I’m with you on your stance on corporate media. When I was young, I was a “Village Voice” subscriber and having grown up just across the river from NYC, I was a liberal, but then I heard my first Rush Limbaugh show and the transformation began. I do not watch or listen to the news, but pick up snippets here and there. I do not trust any single source as I am of the opinion that they all have agendas.

Same. Haven’t looked at corporate media in years. Once was a daily newspaper reader, but when I started noticing the amount of absolute BS framing for so many non-political stories I walked away. National media could reclaim their credibility but it would require an exorcism. They’ve worked their way into a corner and are unable to escape.

Used to be a loyal reader of the Boston Globe mainly for their sports section. But then 3 things changed that:

- learned many of their "experts" NFL picks were done by interns instead.

- some of their best sports writers left for greener pastures - like Peter Gammons to ESPN

- started to be quoted by some papers and they got both my quotes and the facts of the stories all wrong.

Never looked back.
