How the Democrats Can Get Their MOJO Back
Run a ticket of RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard for President in 2028.
“Democrats were once the party of the people… Now the party of Hamas, Hate and Waste.” - Dr. Phil
Not to mention open borders and illegal immigration. They need to face the fact that the Biden Administration and the coverup of his dementia and his cancer broke the Democratic Party and trying to run the same types of people who broke it - like a Cory Booker, AOC, Pete Buttigieg, etc. will not fix it.
Everything in foreign policy Donald Trump is touching, like Iran and Israel, seems to be turning to gold. The past Democrats look pathetic and limp in comparison.
On top of it all the Trump Administration is closing the southern border, deporting violent illegals despite the Democrats best attempts to interfere, the tariffs seem to be working, inflation is becoming non-existent, and the economy is booming. The “don’t trust your lying eyes” (or your wallet) pleas are falling on deaf ears.
That’s why I say if the DNC wants to win the election in 2028 it needs to embrace RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard. Each person ran as a Democratic candidate for President before and they need to do so again in order to save the Democratic Party. They are both successful and untainted by the Obama, Hilary, Biden history that will be poison in all Democratic primaries.
I have RFK Jr. as the head of the ticket simply because of age but also because I think he may be able to garner the most votes. This combination could head up the top of the ticket for the next 16-years.
But I don’t expect the Democratic Party to listen to sense. There’s too much money at stake in the form of donations and graft to be had even by an unsuccessful candidate. Just look at Kamala Harris.
Both RFK Jr. and Tulsi appeal to large segments that currently are voting Republican. RFK Jr. appeals to soccer moms across the country concerned for the health of their children. Tulsi Gabbard would have great support among the military. She could also be joined on her speaking tours by Jocko Willink. They would be wildly popular among the growing segment of independent voters. Name a better one-two punch?
Together this combination could also get the coveted support of Joe Rogan as they've separately been on his podcast and are really good terms with him. They're even on a first name basis between the three of them.
Ronald Reagan was a former Democrat that became a Republican President. Same with Donald Trump. Who's to say that RFK Jr. and Tulsi couldn't do the same? But as once Democrats who joined a Republican Administration then ran for President as the Democratic ticket.
So let it be written - so let it be done.
I agree with your premise, but I struggle to see how they would make it through the primaries. I believe the activist base has gone so far loony left that a moderate is seen as electoral poison. Remember, the Democrat complaint was that Biden didn’t govern hard enough as a leftist. If it happens, I hope they lose. I still believe a liberal Republican is better than a conservative Democrat. They are well suited for their current roles, but putting them in charge of everything would not work out well for the country. Give me Vance 2028!
