I agree with your premise, but I struggle to see how they would make it through the primaries. I believe the activist base has gone so far loony left that a moderate is seen as electoral poison. Remember, the Democrat complaint was that Biden didn’t govern hard enough as a leftist. If it happens, I hope they lose. I still believe a liberal Republican is better than a conservative Democrat. They are well suited for their current roles, but putting them in charge of everything would not work out well for the country. Give me Vance 2028!
I see a Vance / Rubio ticket running and winning in 2028 and RFK Jr. and Tulsi continuing in their current roles (unless Tulsi steps up and becomes Sec of State).
Do think that they could get through the Democratic debates unscathed though. Nobody wants to debate them - nobody. They would wrack up the scalps. But like I said - the DNC is on a suicide pact and will run a same old candidate type with predictable outcomes. At least that will be good for the down ticket candidates.
