So RFK Jr. picks a radical leftie, political novice Nicole Shanahan to be his running mate. And just like that many who thought about maybe casting a vote for him think, "Well that was disappointing." Others view it as good news as the hard left now has a choice instead of the Democrats and the MAGA voters see another nail in Joe Biden's coffin... Shohei Ohtani's "press conference" did not feature any questions from the audience just him reading a prepared statement. The only purpose was to show everyone him only speaking Japanese (though he seemed to understand the English translation). This was to prepare everyone for his legal defense that a language barrier prevented him for knowing what was going on... Bowlegged Gauchos would be a good name for a band... Awesome... Nicole Shanahan being from California may be an even bigger problem than her liberalism. Many identify Kennedy as a Californian (except maybe in Massachusetts where the Kennedy name still holds weight). Most voters aren't happy with the way California is NOT working... Would like to see skit about guy buying a home and turning into his dad with Dr. Rick but seeing P Diddy at a deli (instead of LL Cool J)... Not only is Boeing's CEO out at the end of the year, the Board Chair and the head of the Commercial Aviation division are also out. It will take a lot to regain people's trust in the company. Same could be said about Disney but instead of trying to regain trust they fired Gina Carano... Now the only political drama that remains is who Donald Trump will select as his VP and if the Democrats will somehow jettison Joe Biden this summer... Once radio was a literal license to print money. Then came TV and the age of radio went away. Then newspapers were a license to print money then along came the Internet and the new media. The signs about the decline of radio were everywhere and history has well documented them. Now we have massive layoffs from newspapers and speculation. Just saying... Reminder that Colin Powell in his autobiography spoke about how people would not wear their military uniforms in Bill Clinton's White House out of fear of being ostracized because they looked down on those who served there. The more things change... If I were the CEO of the company that produces Duct Tape I'd spread a rumor that I was seeking to buy Boeing. That would be funny to me...
