Jerry Seinfeld had a very good commencement speech at Duke. Pro-Palestinian protesters walked out even before the address. His talk was good but wouldn't have been news except for their rudeness and closed mindedness. Seinfeld didn't kill any babies on October 7th. Now many people have viewed that speech. Good for him... ChatGPT has released an upgrade to 4.o (that's a lower case "o" not a zero). I was using 3.5 but will keep you posted about any improvement I experience... When I was a kid Carvel was the name of a place that made ice cream cakes not a cruise line. I miss Cookie Puss... Wow! Alibaba reported a 86% drop in revenue in the 4th quarter. The stock price of course fell but more importantly this may be seen as a weakness of the Chinese economy. You can't trust any economic numbers that are put out by the CCP but publicly traded companies cannot lie about their revenue... Batchelor Simians would be a good name for a band… Sports Illustrated: "This is not your dad's Sports Illustrated." Yeah no kidding! The magazine was popular and made a profit back then... Gaining the World but losing Their Souls could be the title to the biography of Joe Biden and his family... Factually true!... Sampling Luck would be a good name for a band of statisticians… I've gotten into the habit of yelling "Loan cannon!" whenever I use an ATM. But nothing happens. Well I think it's funny... Speaking of funny - how funny would it be if Bud Light announced that JK Rowling was their new celebrity spokesperson?...
