The Jets fired head coach Robert Saleh (deservedly). Now let the speculation of if Bill Belichick would take the job begin. I doubt it since he is already rich and hates the Jets. If he does though he’d miss a great opportunity if he simply doesn’t announce it by Tweeting “I’ve agreed to be the new HC of the NYJ”… The Bengals are now 1-4 which is the same record as the Pats but New England has the tie breaker because of their week one win over Cincinnati. I find that humorous… I'm an awful person for laughing at this... Firstie McGee would be a good Internet non de plume or name for a blog. Oldtimers probably remember how annoying people would rush to be the first to comment on a thread just to type “Firstie”… Between the “interview” of Na-Tehisi Coates and the CBS 60-Minutes “interview” of Kama Harris whatever sheds of integrity their news department had seems now to be in tatters… Patriots are switching QB’s to rookie Drake Maye from Jacoby Brissett for this Sunday’s game against the Texans at Foxboro. This move has been expected but still a big risk with the O-line playing so bad… Can't really blame them for delaying the game under these circumstances... People on the left complain that X’s free speech leans mostly toward the right and vow to start their own rival platform. I can’t help but remember how people on the left hated the success of Rush Limbaugh and right-leaning AM talk radio and vowed to make their own platform. That “platform” ended up being Air America and how did that do?… The Pet Rock of today (people probably bought this blank book to send to people who plan to vote Democrat in the election)... Good advice for anyone facing a big hurricane related storm surge…
