With Top Gun: Maverick being one of the top box office movies of 2022 and ranking in the top 10 for domestic releases ever - Hollywood which is always out of new ideas should reach back to do a sequel of another of 1987's top hits -  Crocodile Dundee. The plot could be very simple. Mic Dundee and Sue Charlton's kid refuses to get jabbed and gets placed into a "camp." Their kid escapes from the camp and goes on "walk-about" throughout locked down Australia. Hijinks ensues. The script writes itself... Cool - actual mushroom music... If AOC and Ilhan Omar self-identify as handcuffed - we must respect their personal truths and choices... Confirmation bias is a real thing. People tend to seek out stories and media that agree with their pre-determined set of beliefs. But media exhaustion is also a very real thing. People grow sick of hearing the same ole pap over and over. One of the repercussions of this I predict is that in the upcoming 2024 election more money will be spent on media than ever but the messages will reach fewer and fewer people as people will tune out the media spewing forth those commercials for almost exclusively commercial free on-demand entertainment options instead. And those platforms that try to sneak these messages into their content will find themselves hemorrhaging subscribers. So let it be written - so let it be done... If Sherlock Holmes 3 flops at the box office - would anyone be surprised to see Robert Downey Jr. return to the MCU as an alternate universe Iron Man? Anyone?... Turbulent Zen would be a good name for a band (but an awful name for a baby)… The root of the word "emotion" is the Latin "emovere" - meaning "to disturb." So a person who is overly emotional is overly disturbed. Or on their period (oh going to hell for that one)... One reason I'm not overly concerned about China invading Taiwan is because China is by far the largest importer of foodstuffs in the world. They cannot feed themselves. They send the world shitty cheap products and the world sends them money and food. If they invaded Taiwan they probably would have to invade Australia too just to insure a food supply and that ain't happening... This should put a smile on your face...
