Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.
Saw a recent report that said the US ranks 3rd in the world in murder rates but if you took out five US cities that have been run by Democrats virtually for generations (Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC, Saint Louis, and New Orleans) that the US slips all the way down to 189th - out of 193 countries! If true that's incredible. And that doesn't even include New York and Philadelphia. There's a better case to be made for putting these five Democrat run cities under Federal marshal law than there is for new gun control laws or getting rid of the Second Amendment... What I mean when I type "Please see attachment" in an email... The things you learn on the Internets - the first episode of The Simpsons aired closer to the Eisenhower Administration than to the Biden Administration. This may be the new Cleopatra lived closer to the landing on the moon than to the building of the pyramids... The word "overmorrow" means the day after tomorrow. How come we never use the word overmorrow anymore? My spellcheck doesn't even recognize it as a word... Flogged with a turtle... My mind works differently than most - is it wrong that I'd like to see the Biden Administration to become known through history as The Brown Note Presidency? If you don’t know about the brown note - Google it... You hear a lot lately about "quiet quitting" but I keep thinking this is nothing new. Think the military has long had an acronym for this - "ROAD" (retired on active duty) for people just going through the motions to collect a paycheck and a pension. And there's always been the saying "good enough for government work" which always meant lack of effort or attention to detail - which sums up work done by the government in a nutshell... The future of firefighting using drones... Need to get this out there because I've heard the rumors - for the record I was not on the Masked Singer last week. Not last week...
