Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.

Tesla’s stock dropped on news that their production declined 1.7% year over year in Q1 and deliveries this year are down even more. Think this is easily explained by the fact that many are waiting to buy a Tesla because they’re waiting on getting a Cybertruck or getting cold feet because the delivery date has gone by. They are building them but I’m about 100,000 on the original wait list and still waiting. Now rethinking getting one at all… More and more a fan of JK Rowling. Think many would be willing to stream a Harry Potter channel that was nothing but Harry Potter world based movies and pay about $5 per month just to show that support… Some of the news about the 7.5 earthquake out of Taiwan is crazy… Would be funny if some swing states issued a Silver Alert for Joe Biden around election day. Wonder how many people seeing it would view it as a joke or as an admission of dementia?… Many people were switching from Slack to Microsoft Teams - especially during the pandemic. Now Microsoft is unbundling Teams from it Office suite of products. Most companies that use PC’s now have a choice. Will be interest to see what they do with that… I have the sense of humor of a 12-year old boy… Speaking of election day, wonder if there’s time to put a ballot question on the November ballot to change the name of the Woodrow Wilson Rest Area on the NJ Turnpike. He’s a known racist and it could make people rethink the history of the Democratic Party… Speaking of Joe Biden (and possible dementia), “Say hello to the oyster bunnies.” Actual Easter quote… Good question… Maybe the Wall Street Bets folks had it right? Truth Social’s stock dropped precipitously after news that the platform lost over $58 million last year. Another interesting story to watch…
