Have heard multiple things about the housing market in the US, That interest rates are going to go up so its best to wait to buy a house. Or that the AirBnB bubble is about to crash so that will drag home prices down with it. With everyone seemingly counseling the same thing isn't that when you're supposed to pivot and do the opposite?... Actor Robert Shaw died 45-years ago yesterday at just 51 but what a great life. Immediately think of movies like From Russia with Love, JAWS, The Deep, and The Sting when you mention his name. Wonder if there's a good biography of him out there?... Hilarious to me that Cornell West is now persona non grata to the Democrats after he announced his candidacy for the Green Party. Now corporate media either ignores him or calls him a tax cheat or deadbeat dad. No more White House summits for him I guess. Very instructive if you're paying attention... Also heard that in the US 41% of homes are owned by people who don't live there. If it's a good investment for them wouldn't it be a good investment for you?... Tucker Carlson apologizes to Hungary on behalf of the US while slamming Ambassador David Pressman for his pro-gay rants. It's like he's he's picking a fight and begging for someone to try and cancel him. Like Elon Musk he wants to defend free speech... So if they tried to make the show Taxi today how many white cab drivers would they realistically have? No way Hollywood green light's that show because of that factor now... Speaking of corporate media - supposedly the National Archives have roughly 5,400 emails from Robert L. Peters in case you haven't seen that info elsewhere. Perfectly normal for a sitting VP to have a fake email address I guess. Nothing to report on there... Never forget that Hong Kong Phooey was played by a black man. And Hollywood was proud of that... New debate topic on New England sports radio - should the Pats go after Colt McCoy as backup QB instead of Baily Zappe? I'm old enough to remember when sports writers were discussing whether Zappe should replace Mac Jones as starter. Then again I'm older than a year old... Weather has always been one of the most unpredictable elements of warfare. Has that changed in the age of drones?... Still blows my mind that Bladerunner was set in January 2019. We live in nothing like that word. Now Escape from New York - that's another story... Is it me or are the newspapers and networks basically committed to covering Trump's trials in New York and Georgia at precisely the most important times of the election cycle. They were aiming to harm his campaign but are basically giving him free publicity even though they know the charges are spurious and politically motivated at exactly the most pivotable time. Talk about a massive backfire... If Hunter Biden was Vladimir Putin's son I think his plane would have mysteriously crashed into a mountain by now...
