Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.

Any "expert" who insisted that the Colorado ruling to keep Donald Trump off the ballot was "unassailable"- with the Supreme Court's voting 9-0 against it should be treated as a clown. And any media outlet that gives them oxygen should never be listened to or read again... Some are surprised that Target reported better year-over-year holiday revenue because many said they were going to give them the Bud Light treatment for their Pride Month promotions. Think inflation and the problems with the economy should not be overlooked though. Walmart also reported record holiday sales. Many people who traditionally have not shopped Walmart are now trying to stretch their disposable income. Some of these folks look at Target as the lesser evil. Beware that it's Target's established customers which may be avoiding them and sales may dips as the economy improves... Also any "expert" who wrote or said that Twitter (now X) was on its last legs after Elon Musk bought the platform should be remembered and mocked especially with the Facebook outage in mind... Are there betting odds the Joe Biden skips giving a State of the Union speech this year? If I were Republican Speaker of the House I'd be trumpeting the fact that he's been invited... You'd have to have a heart of stone not to laugh... Apple is reporting a sharp drop in sales in China. I take this as both a sign of trouble in the Chinese economy and they fact that the CCP has no issue with cheaper Chinese made Apple knock-offs copying Apple’s technology. Don't trust China. China is asshole!... After the 9-0 Supreme Court decision Maine's Secretary of State Shenna Bellows withdrew her decision to take Donald Trump off the 2024 Maine Presidential ballot. While not surprising I do wonder how much this "free" publicity was worth for the Trump campaign... Was not aware of this history... Another day, another court ruling against the Biden Administration. The North Dakota Supreme Court rules the Biden Administration cannot require religious organizations or healthcare companies to provide gender affirming services... Remember when the "experts" said that Trump moving the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem was going to be a disaster for the US? Yet some still listened to "experts"... Don’t be surprised if the Biden Administration removes Kamala Harris at this summer’s convention and rebrands the Biden Administration as “Biden+” or if Joe Biden is dropped completed and a new ticket is formed… Have not seen the show The Dynasty but reportedly NFL Films executives are not happy with the way coach Bill Belichick is portrayed and wish not to be associated with the series. Have heard others also voice their displeasure with the shabby treatment of Belichick…
