New Defense Secretary Pete Hesgeth has quickly moved against former head of the Joint Chiefs Mark Milley by stripping him of his security detail and revoking his clearance. He has also begun an investigation into Milley’s past actions… President Trump signed an Executive Order banning trans surgery on minors in the US. Great but it’s a shame we have to put common sense into writing… China has agreed to take back any citizens found to be here illegally. They know what’s up and are trying to stay ahead of what they know must be coming… Donald Trump calls for an end of the income tax. I've long proposed something much less radical but I think just as fair: no income tax for individuals making $35,000 or less or married couples making $50,000 or less, a flat tax thereafter, and no allowed deductions for anyone (married or single) with income greater than $500,000/year... Currently reading Elmore Leonard's Get Shorty. Really enjoyed the movie version and was surprised that Leonard wrote in the book that Gene Hackman was the first choice to play the fictional Mr. Lovejoy role that originally went to Michael Weir (played in the movie by Danny DeVito). Amused by fact that Hackman later played director Harry Zinn in the movie... Amazing fact about the Super Bowl matchup… Has to be asked but if you have capability to get internet and cell service via LEO Starlink satellites then doesn't that negate most any disruption an undersea cable-cut sabotage can cause?... DOGE under Elon Musk is currently saving the American taxpayer $1 billion a day! And he’s barely scratched the surface… Making the American military great again... If I were Jeff Bezos I would partner with Elon Musk to offer 3-free months of Amazon Prime with the sale of any Starlink service. These potentially could be new lifelong Amazon customers... Psychedelic Rats would be a good name for a punk band... Illegal border crossing are down 93% under the Trump Administration. This is the way… The kid who has the 1/1 Paul Skenes signed rookie card turned down Pirates offer of 30-years of free seats to all home games and instead will put the card up for auction. The kid lives in LA and would never use those "free seats"... He’s not wrong… Border Patrol has to have a lot of long range rifles and snipers. I'd authorize them using deadly force in performance of their jobs and wouldn't lose any sleep over it... Has to be said but new White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is a breath of fresh air. She was more honest and informative in her first press conference than all the press conferences held in the last 4-years combined…
