Agree that Microsoft restarting Three Mile Island in order to power a new AI data center and the lack of protests accompanying it are good news but I think it misses the real story of why a new small form nuclear power plant with basically no waste are not used instead. The regulatory red tape needed to go through the building process would add years and millions to the process. That needs to change... Still say the the all-star tribute to George Harrison with a version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps is the best cover of all-time. In second is probably Sinead O'Connor's Nothing Compares to You. The first features a guitar solo by Prince while the second was written by him... And just like that suddenly nobody wants to get blonde tips in Cincinnati anymore... If the Biden Administration gives Hunter Biden a pardon I'd be OK if Donald Trump is elected he gave a pardon to Devon Archer too. I would like to see which media outlets are completely hypocritical about the two pardons though... Why doesn't the media just use Nancy Pelosi's stock trades to predict future news?... Has any institution lost more public support and trust than Harvard University and the Ivy League in general since Barack Obama became President? There's others in the discussion but they are clearly in the running... Skip the Al Smith Dinner at your peril… Failed assassin Dylan Routh offered a $150,000 bounty to anyone who could finish the job. Shouldn't his finances also be made public so everyone can see how much money he actually has and who has been financing him? That could both disabuse people of the notion he actually has that sort of money and expose who has been paying his way and may also be complicit... Good point about NPR... Strange thought but could the threat of fentanyl tainted drugs be turning off a generation of people against the use of drugs like cocaine?... Wow was not aware of this... FWIW I've seen more Trump bumper stickers on Tesla cars now than I have all Harris-Walz bumper stickers on all the other makes of cars combined...
