Congrats to the Florida Panthers for winning back to back Stanley Cups with a 4 games to 2 series win over the Edmonton Oilers last night. Once again the Stanley Cup does not go to a team from Canada… US Supreme Court ruled unanimously in favor of nuns who said the State of New York cannot force them to pay for abortions on religious grounds. Coupled with the Trump Administration getting rid of DEI programs it may signal the turn of the tide back in favor of Christians being free to follow their consciences... Big if true. I have no idea what happens in Iran next but I'm guessing it doesn't involve any US boots on the ground... Kraft Heinz says they will eliminate chemical dyes in their products over the next two years. This is another big win for the MAHA movement but I'm curious how red ketchup ends up being... He's not wrong... As a Boston Bruins fan I naturally dislike the Panthers because they always seem to knock Boston out of the playoffs. But Florida also traded for Bruins captain Brad Marchand and we wanted him to win another cup… Joke used to be that nobody in Iran knew where the mullahs were hiding - except the Israelis. Now they may have to amend that joke to include the US military too… Things that make you go Wow! Now do number of military drones and ammunition though... Could be the perfect time to do peace negotiations with Iran since all the hard liner military-types are dead and those in power don’t want to join them… Washington Post reports that net immigration may be down this year for the first time in 50-years. What else did they expect when Joe Biden was allowing in over 21 million illegal immigrants over the last 4-years and Trump was elected on the promise to deport them? Was the WaPo reporting on open borders back then? Doubt it... Is the media ever right in their predictions?... Word for today is "termagant" - a harsh tempered or overbearing woman. I hope you don't meet any termagant women this week... Leave in Cream would be a good name for a boy band... Elon Musk boils down current politics... When my kids were growing up and they heard someone swear I'd just explain that was because that person just wasn't smart enough to think of another word. Now that they're adults when they hear me swear I just explain that those are just sentence enhancing words...
