Strange phenomenon that even though some of the top minds and industrialists in the country consider themselves Democrats - none of them seem to put themselves up for election. One of the reasons the DNC “bench” is so shallow and lacking of talent… Still amazed that author Patrick O’Brien (born Richard Patrick Russ) died in 2000 at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. The Master and Commander books didn’t come out until about 1970 even though many (like me) thought the books came out in the 1800’s… Don't follow soccer but have to think the other invited nations to the Copa America had to have a good time. Even the tourney losers got a trip to the US and got to watch the host nation lose... How long before Joe Biden's nickname becomes President WebMD because everyone has a diagnosis of what's wrong with him?... Interesting theory that Barack Obama would prefer Gretchen Whitmore to replace Joe Biden on the top of the Democrats presidential ticket… Pat Tillman's own mother "shocked" by ESPN giving an award named after her son to Prince Harry. Not bothering with the ESPY's ever again... Learn something new every day: Boston Celtics majority owner Wick Groesbeck, who is selling the team, was born in Worcester. Now I like him even more... The movie North by Northwest came out 65-years ago. Love the Cary Grant character but just learned it was based on the real-life Operation Mincemeat character who never never existed… All I want is for AI to create a Celebrity Death Match video of Dr. Jill Biden against VP Kamala Harris. Is that asking too much?… There’s some debate whether the Battle of Gettysburg started on June 30th when John Buford first deployed two divisions on the high ground in Gettysburg while others set the first day as July 1st when North troops first engaged South troops. I fall into the former category because if Buford never took that high ground we’d be looking at this as a massacre by General Lee on the North and maybe the deciding battle of the Civil War… Have to wonder if Joe Biden’s “performance” at Thursday’s debate has changed any opinions about NY judge Juan Merchan or Florida judge Aileen Cannon? Honest question…
