SpaceX's Starlink now has over 1.5 million subscribers with monthly revenue over $140 million. In addition SpaceX has all that primary revenue from launching payloads into space. If they do decide to do an IPO it will be one of the biggest in history... New Traffic Pattern would be a good name for a Steve Winwood cover band... The three primary commandments of sports betting are 1. Thou shall not parlay; 2. Thou shall not tease; and 3. Thou shall not bet just to have action. The gambling apps of today are making most of their money by getting young people who don’t know any better to disregard these three commandments... One of my favorite moments in TV history... On Joe Biden's official Twitter page he's following just 13 accounts. All of them are associated with the White House - except Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors. Just find that weird... Saw a stat the other day, that I have not confirmed, that said 2.7x more people in the US die of sugary drinks than from heroin overdoses. Would be interesting to compare sugary drink related deaths vs those who died because they weren't wearing a seatbelt. The federal government always seems to have money for those "Click it or ticket” ads but I’ve never seen an ad warning of the health dangers of too much sugar... OK I'll say it - Black Friday is racist!... George RR Martin is participating in the Hollywood writers' strike. Like he really needed another excuse not to finish the last Game of Thrones book... Last week the latest class to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was announced and once again - no Warren Zevon. Here’s an excellent primer on the career of Zevon and why he’s a worthy candidate. Please note all the people (who are all in the Hall) who volunteered to be on his albums or who covered his songs. Warren holds a special place in my heart since he was the first concert I ever attended. That he’s not in the Hall is a joke. Don’t even get me going on Bad Company not being in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
