The fallout from Saturday continues as Penn State fires their OC after a big loss at home to Michigan. Who would they have fired if Jim Harbaugh actually coached the game?... Truth!... Who knew? "Shower gel" translates into French as "gel douche." Learn something new every day... Also currently reading Billy Phelan's Greatest Game by William Kennedy at the suggestion of Rounders co-writer Brian Koppelman's recommendation on Tyler Cowen's podcast. Enjoying it quite a bit so far... Remember when we were naive enough to think that the Nord Stream 2 story was not going away?... Thinking of coming out with a bumper sticker that says, "Who the Gods would destroy they first make mad. Vote 2024!"... Today is the first day of ESPN Bet being active. It is also the date on which future generations may say ESPN began its travel down the tubes... As a first generation Irish-American of staunch Irish Catholic parents I don't doubt at all that an Irish Catholic woman was convinced around 100-yeras ago that they could be condemned to hell forever for making love standing up. No doubt at all... New England ran for 167 yards and the defense only allowed 10 points on Sunday morning. This is the first time in NFL history that a team did that and still lost. If you needed more proof that the Patriots need a new QB - there you go!... Honestly having a hard time taking Grok seriously as an AI. It doesn't appear to be serious... Pretty sure  won't be cashing my ticket on Tim Scott being the Republican nominee for President in 2024. It was always a longshot... One has to wonder if CJ Stroud's religiosity will hurt him with the voters. Tim Tebow's religiosity certainly hurt him (though Colin Kaepernick is certainly still popular)...
