Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.

The attack by Iran explained… Tesla announces they will be laying off roughly 10% of the workforce to help prepare the company for growth. This would be laughable in most situations but Elon Musk laid off 75% of Twitter and then grew the company from there. So...  Perhaps Verne Lundquist's greatest call at the Masters. A well deserved retirement... In the Odyssey the cyclops Polyphemus asks Odysseus what his name is and he replies "no one” which translates into Latin as "Nemo" which explains the name in Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea... If Joe Biden wins a second term and I were a terrorist organization - I would change the name of any property I own to “embassy” making it illegal for anyone to attack it… Bill Belichick taking a year off to live his best life... People forget but Elon Musk was at first happy to just be an investor in Twitter but it was clear to him that his voice would never be listened to or even heard if he just owned stock and sat on the board. He knew he knew the world needed a platform that promoted free speech while getting rid of the bots and scammers and that Twitter didn’t want those things. Musk also wanted a social media platform based on blockchain. That in a nutshell is why he ended up shelling out $44 billion. Thank God he did! He’s still working on the blockchain angle… Yesterday would have been Leonardo Di Vinci's birthday. Can't recommend Walter Isaacson's biography enough (or any of his books for that matter)... Global warming has always been a hoax... Life advice: if you ever ask yourself if you are doing something too much, like “am I drinking to much?” or “am I working too much?” That probably means that you are and should take a break…
