The US response to the Chinese spy balloon should be simply to offer Taiwan access to any defensive military equipment they want... Wonder if some kind of version of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act could be used to break up monopolistic Government and Teachers Unions? Why not? What's good for capital should be good for labor - right?... Have seen  some suggest the next platform Elon Musk and Twitter should take on is LinkedIn. Not sure about that as many have very different online Twitter and LinkedIn personalities. However I could see Twitter taking on a site like Monster.com and have job postings. You could have a separate tab that was just jobs sorted by state and job types. You could also do the same for real estate... With his trade to the Dallas Mavericks Kyrie Irving is now paired with Luca Doncic who combined average 60.5 points per game which is slightly better than the Celtics duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. However, I think if you polled most NBA GM's and coaches they'd admit they would prefer Boston's combo because they won't get their coaches fired or request to be traded every other year... You learn something new every day; as part of the settlement to the Spanish-American War - Spain agreed to sell the US the Philippines for $20 million. Andrew Carnegie, the richest man in the world at the time, offered to reimburse the government $20 million if they would give the Philippines their freedom instead of making it a US Protectorate. The government rejected his kind offer... If Covid truly effected the most vulnerable shouldn't our healthcare system have been choked by sick unvaccinated immigrants and shouldn't we have seen dead homeless people stacked like cordwood? Instead we still suffer from many, many excess expected deaths but they're mainly from the vaccinated. Shouldn't some of these "experts" have some explaining to do why this happens to be so?... This week you may hear talk about Travis Kelce being the greatest tight end in NFL history but keep in mind that Rob Gronkowski won 4 Super Bowls, lost 2 Super Bowls, and also lost 3 Conference Championship games. That's 9 trips to at least the Conference Championship in an 11 season career. Gronk was the and remains the all-time best ever... With his trade to the Mavericks - Kyrie Irving also helped make Dallas one of the most disliked teams in the NBA... Wondered how Hollywood could ever greenlight a movie with a tagline "It seems even Satan himself is after Anus" but then I saw the Sam Smith "highlights" from the Grammy Awards...
