It would be amusing if Mark Zuckerberg never actually accepted the challenge to fight Elon Musk but instead it was a custom bot he uses on social media to make people think he actually uses the platforms. And now he either has to fight or admit to the bot so he's decided to fight. It's like an episode of Doug... 5-MeO-DMT (also referred to as "the God molecule') was not made a Schedule 1 prohibited drug until January of 2011. Meanwhile its completely legal in Brazil, Costa Rica, and Mexico. Never tried the drug but I'm bothered by the classification... If you think its a coincidence that doctors are now free to prescribe Ivermectin then you haven't been paying attention to the straight up money grab... Hard to imagine these days but at one point Nike was the largest employer in New Hampshire and Maine. By the time of Nike's first annual report the majority of the company's 2,700 employees actually made shoes in the US. By 1985 the last American factory was closed... Historical Bed of Procrustes would be a good name for a blog or Substack that examines historically difficult or uncomfortable situations (like what happened to Nike's manufacturing)... The silver lining to David Krejci retiring (again) for the Bruins is that he unretired last season which greatly helped Boston. Not only did his return incent Patrice Bergeron to take a team-friendly contract but also incented David Pasternak to sign a long term deal. I wish nothing but the best for David Krejci… Terence McKenna coined the phrase "Heroic dose" which works out to 5 or more grams of mushrooms or more than 400 mcg of LSD. Never had a heroic dose (but at least I understand the term now)... I have no qualms about the US military dropping two atomic bombs on Japan. Their military was willing to fight to the death prior to the bombs. We still have Purple Hearts and Medals of Honor that were made up in anticipation of needing to invade. No qualms whatsoever... Who knew? Winston Churchill was a Nobel Prize winner in literature... On the fence about the Patriots signing RB Ezekiel Elliot. Know its only a one year deal but think Zeke's ability has been dwindling. Getting an Emmitt Thomas in Arizona vibe to the player but will take a wait and see approach. Guess the move can't hurt. Looking forward to the season for New England...
