Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.
Hollywood writers have reportedly ended their 150-day strike. Most never noticed they were on strike and I'm guessing just as few will notice that they're back on the job. Not sure what the strike gained if anything... Have to wonder how well the New York Jets would do with Gardner Minshew at QB instead of Zach Wilson. I believe in the power of the mustache... Truth about Diabetes... Elon Musk can trace his plans of sustainable energy (Tesla), the Internet (X), and space travel (SpaceX) all the way back to 1995. You can't say he hasn't been consistent in his vision... Anytime I see a person in a nice car driving alone but still wearing a mask, I imagine they also have money invested in China's Evergrande. Makes me smile... Also have to think Arizona beating the Cowboys blew up a number of Survivor pools this weekend... Amused by SpaceX engineers calling "explosions" as "rapid unscheduled dissembles" instead... Have to wonder if increases in the uses of stem cells to improve everyday life will end up greater for the future than the benefits of AI. Will be an interesting comparison to watch but I expect both technologies to prove useful to mankind... If Ohio State loses to Michigan again this year does coach Ryan Day get fired because his team is not physical enough? Don't think any betting site will post odds on that. Lou Holtz was not wrong about them lacking toughness... I've only followed baseball enough to know that New York has been eliminated from the playoffs. Yankees delenda est... Think one of the reasons Elon Musk won't ever go "Woke" is because he believes in thinking of laws set by man as "recommendations" and that only the laws of physics need to be followed. Woke doesn’t follow the laws of physics. What a great way to put it... Used to find it amusing to sing about the "butter man" when listening to Pearl Jam's Better Man but now switching to "Fetterman." Think that's even more amusing... Who knew? SpaceX named their first rocket Falcon after the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars... Things must be getting pretty bad for the Biden Administration if even 60 Minutes is going after them on Ukraine...
