Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.

Remember when certain journalists argued that Elon Musk should not be allowed to buy Twitter because "lives were at risk?" Maybe they were talking about their own lives being at risk if Musk came in and shut down the vast child porn exchange network that was thriving under previous management? I imagine there's many people nervous out there worried that their names will be made public as pedophiles who were regularly sharing or requesting kiddie porn. Just saying...  If you are out at a bar and you're still wearing a mask - you should be required to stay 6 feet away from all other patrons. If you're going to adhere to one bit of foolishness you should be made to adhere to all the foolishness. And, in my opinion, there's no place for you on a crowded dance floor... So with Michigan manhandling Ohio State does that mean Illinois is really the second best team in the Big 10? Michigan needed a last minute field goal to beat Illinois... Have to admit that I'm not blind to the irony of the CEO of Tesla, which famously does not spend any money on advertising, questioning the motives of companies who reduce or eliminate their advertising spending on Twitter... Some legal weed emporiums were plagued by a lack of Sativa pre-rolled joints over the holiday. They only had Indica (aka "in da couch") because many pot aficionados think the tryptophane in the turkey produces many of the same "in da couch" effects of Indica. Can't say that they're wrong... American women becoming so obese that what used to be maternity jeans are now sold as the new yoga pants is not exactly a move in the right direction... Forget Matt Ruhle to Nebraska or Luke Fickell to Wisconsin - if Deon Sanders takes the offer to be the new head coach at Colorado that will be the home run coaching hire of the year... Hey do you think the Town of Amity ever paid Captain Quint's estate that $10,000? Their mayor did seem pretty sketchy. Jaws V - the Hunt for Quint's Money...  USC QB Caleb Williams is now a -$3000 favorite to win the Heisman Trophy. You'd have to risk $3,000 to win $100 which means there'll be zero drama about who wins this year's award... Rumor is that Apple is thinking of banning Twitter app from the Apple Store. Why would Apple do that? Elon Musk would sue and perhaps the anti-monopolistic backlash would negatively effect Apple stock. Plus do you want a pissed off Elon Musk working on his own version of an iPhone? Because that's an almost guaranteed outcome of banning Twitter from the app store... When you can't wrap your head some of the rumored aberrant sexual behavior of those in power remember that Barack Obama got his own daughter an internship at Harvey Weinstein's company while Obama was a sitting President with the most sophisticated intelligence apparatus at his disposal. They knew all about Weinstein and they still had no problem with their daughter working under him. Remember that...
