Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes has been found guilty on four charges in her fraud trial. Oh happy day! She's an evil person. Still bothers me though that we know who were the investors in Theranos but we don't know who the "Johns" were who were Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislain Maxwell's "investors"... Well that should be it for Antonio Brown. The 7-tme Pro Bowler was a borderline Hall of Fame candidate before (24th in all-time receiving yards and receiving TD's) but the way he's burnt so many bridges these past few years has left a very bad taste in people's mouths. The only way to redemption for Brown I can see is if there's a Fear Strikes Out type movie or documentary on his mental health issues that paints him in a very sympathetic light. I won't be holding my breath though... The results of the Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell trials make me think of this quote from Herman Melville, "Sin that pays its way can travel freely, and without passport; whereas Virtue, if a pauper, is stopped at all frontiers." How very true... Suggestion for the next Republican President; sign an Executive Order halting all print and media Federal ads or commercials. They really are wastes of taxpayer funds and in reality a form of corporate welfare for the media.... Blessed be the Cheesemakers... Many have mentioned Patriots Offensive Coordinator Josh McDaniels as a potential head coach for many of the openings that will happen by the end of the season but one thing to keep in mind is McDaniels' current salary. He's believed to be the highest paid assistant coach in the NFL. The risk of a new head-coaching job would have to come with a significant bump in salary which may be above what some owners are willing to pay... In the 13th century when Mongol hordes sacked Christian cities many blamed their misfortune on their sinful ways and the Mongols as God's punishment instead of seeing the Mongols as a military threat. We have the same thing today with many moderns blaming every bad thing under the sun on climate change instead of the actual root cause of whatever the problem actually is... Newt Gingrich's Open Marriage would be a good name for a swinger's assisted living facility... Have a sneaking suspicion that the quantum leaps you see by electrons in atoms are somehow gravity related... How awesome would it be if you took all the great "Hail Mary" passes in football history (Staubach, Flutie, etc.) and set them to the music of Ave Maria?... The Communist Party has eliminated for-profit education in China. It was not because it is ineffective but because the CCP needs to control the messaging. Keep that in mind when Democrats and teachers unions try to tell people that parents should have no say in what their children are taught in school...
