Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.

Question has to be asked but will some stocks be down because those companies were dealing more with companies who were getting subsidized by countries that now may have to pay higher tariffed rates? Could these stocks be offset by stocks of companies that see their foreign, knockoff or subsidized competition evaporate increase in value?... Doesn’t give me a warm feeling about the free agent signing… Hats off to you guy with a large backpack on your back and a regular one on your front and also to the mom carrying a toddler in her arms and a car seat in a bag strapped to her back… Warren Buffett announces he's stepping down at Berkshire Hathaway. At age 94 his retiring should be no surprise but it was… You’d think seeing Cleveland fall to Indiana the night before would have been a wake up call for the Celtics - but no!… Learned a new song (well new to me) Dicked Down in Dallas by Trey Lewis (NSFW). Had to wonder if Trey Lewis was on the same label as Wheeler Walker Jr… Tariff is indeed an Arabic word that like most arithmetic related words entered European usage in the Middle Ages. It of course refers to the number in fees or duties you may have to pay for a product… Hey guy in the airport with a mohawk showing you’re edgy and independent while wearing a cloth mask showing you’re easily brainwashed - what message are you trying to send to people? Color the mohawk blue and call it a day… When talking about companies that may see their stock value decrease because they were selling products from foreign companies that may face tariffs I was thinking specifically of Amazon and WalMart and Black Rock… While I had a good time at the Kentucky Derby it’s good to be home!…
