Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.

There was a second assassination attempt on Donald Trump yesterday. I fear that the hope of the Biden-Harris Administration and those pulling the strings who are actually in charge may feel that the only real path to victory this election is to kill Trump… Many people are speculating about the firing of Florida head coach Billy Napier (definitely) and the firing of Florida State's head coach Mike Norvell (doubtful) but the real story may be the windfall in recruiting to Miami as the downfall of those two programs leads top recruits to sign with the Hurricane's instead...  The would be assassin, Rylan Routh, was mentally ill and had an illegal rifle with the serial number purposefully destroyed. He probably had full TDS from consuming too much corporate media too… Many people have been comparing America's place in history to the Decline and Fall of Ancient Rome but a more accurate comparison may be between the founding of Rome in 753 BC to the expulsion of the last King of Rome in 509 BC (244 years) to to Declaration of Independence in 1776 AD to the current day (248 years). If Kamala Harris wins the election in November you could easily see an end of the US republic and a take-over by an elite ruling class party in conjunction with an entrenched bureaucracy. The opposite progression of Rome's... Analysis true!… Think it would be funny if you just randomly inserted the phrase "was fond of pies" into some obituaries. Who would know?... Most ancient Romans never saw Hadrian's wall and to them it existed just as a rumor. To me it exists as a bucket list item. I'd like to one day walk the 73 or so miles of the wall from one side of England to the other... The word for the day is "coruscating" which means to give off light or sparkle. Not to be confused with Coruscant which in the Star Wars universe is the home to Wookie's... Also think it would be amusing if there was a type of Tourette's that instead of swearing uncontrollably the person just randomly shouted "ouch!" instead. It would make trips to the doctor's office much more interesting... The Romans had to put down two Jewish rebellions and after the second they rebuilt Jerusalem as a Roman city and changed the name of Judea to Palestine - literally wiping them off the map. No wonder the Jews have such a problem with the name Palestine...
