Don't know what Tucker Carlson's next move is but I think the Republican's biggest fear is that he's running for President... I never waste any time reading NFL mock drafts because that's what they are - a waste of time. I also 100% agree with Bill Burr's views on watching the NFL draft. Who picked who will be listed online as soon as the picks are made why waste time watching the show?... With the New York Knicks doing so well in the NBA playoffs you have to be happy for the Knicks biggest super fan - Woody Allen. He's right up there with the Yankees biggest fan... Would it surprise anyone if Elon Musk made Tucker Carlson a godfather offer to host a video show on Twitter? Tucker could have  couple video essays each day plus a long(er) form interview once a week. Twitter then immediately becomes a legit competitor to YouTube and Spotify... The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says that 73% of adults in the US are overweight. Is it too much of a goal to simply want to be in and stay in that other 27%?... Reportedly Bud Light sales are down 17% in revenue and 21% in volume. Anecdotally I think those numbers are much higher. A local American Legion Post I frequent ran out of Coors Light because everyone was switching to that from Bud Light and another of my frequent haunts is doing specials on Bud Light buckets (5 beers) because they're having trouble selling them. It's bad for Bud Light. Much worse than reported I think...  In general I think people may be using their cell phones less because they know that its not healthy but cell phone usage in San Francisco is just at 31% of what it was pre-pandemic. That's a clear sign of a dying city... With groomers not even bothering to hide their proclivities any more I'm surprised the movies of Woody Allen haven't made a resurgence. Or maybe the groomers aren't winning. Or maybe the movies of Woody Allen were never that good to begin with... After the disappearing act Joe Biden has done when it comes to answering questions from the press - why would a Republican President ever agree to do a press conference in the future? The White House press corps by not doing their jobs are basically eliminating their own positions... Normal Accident Theory is a theory that posits that in any complex system that accidents will happen. It's true - and your whole life is a complex system. Accepting that accidents will happen and being OK with just dealing with them when they arise is a super power...
