Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.
Think we have to look back to the Democrats all voting for the Confederacy to understand why the Democratic have such a death wish in supporting illegal aliens when it is on the wrong side of a 90/10 issue among voters. It used to be "the South will rise again" but now it's "free Palestine" or “segregation open borders today - segregation open borders tomorrow - segregation open borders forever!”... Former California Governor Ronald Reagan once said, "The purpose of government is to protect people's lives, not run them." The current governor believes the exact opposite. That's one of the reason's Gavin Newsome will never be president... RFK Jr. is taking no prisoners in MAHA effort… Sec of Defense Pete Hesgeth is also deploying 700 active duty Marines to help restore order in the LA riots… Senator John Fetterman has emerged as the most sane Democrat out there. Think it would be entertaining if he ran for President in 2028 just to watch how he handles the debates against the likes of Newsome, Elizabeth Warren, and AOC… Don Nelson, a Dallas coaching icon, was awarded a lifetime award by the NBA and used the opportunity to say the Mavericks made a big mistake in trading Luca Doncic to the Lakers. While everyone agrees with him it should be no surprise that Nelson feels this way since his son Donnie was a major European scout and was responsible for finding Dirk Nowitzki and also drafted Doncic. Dallas used to be a destination for top European players but no more... Couple of months ago there was a country music hit Try That in a Small Town. Think you could have a hit with a song Try That in a Red State now... Language is always evolving and there should be a word to describe the frustration of reaching an AI chatbot on a "help" line that doesn't help - just makes you more frustrated... Big fan of Don Nelson since I read an article about how Nelson is living his best life in Maui playing poker and smoking pot with Willie Nelson... Often evil shall evil mar… The advice of "kill your darlings" when writing is attributed to William Faulkner. I'm lucky in a way in that I get to keep my "darlings" and just include them as a miscellaneous thought or observation... Reminder that President George H.W. Bush also mobilized the National Guard in 1992 to deal with the LA Riots then. What President Trump’s doing is not unprecedented and neither is LA burning from “protests”… No matter how frustrated you get on a "help" line - never swear because that gives the person the excuse to hang up on you and you become the problem of the next person to answer the call and you have to start from scratch. Instead turn it into a game where you smile and point out how little the person who is supposed to be helping you actually knows about the product or service they are supposed to be "expert" in... The LA Riots are being funded mostly by NGO’s (using your tax dollars) and the Communist Party. That makes the blood boil…
