NASA reportedly has 42,000 employees all on the federal payroll. Meanwhile SpaceX reportedly has just 13,000 employees and accomplishes much more. For those doing the math at home that's almost 70% fewer employees. Guessing Elon Musk has already done that math... Reportedly Donald Trump has vowed to hire 10,000 new border patrol agents, get Congress to approve a 10% raise, and provide a $10,000 signing bonus for retention. Seems pretty clear he want a secure border... Was not aware of this fact about Merrick Garland... Prediction: the more traditional media pushes polls that show their preferred candidate as either tied or ahead among voters only to see the actual results skewered badly against that - the more they are hurting themselves with their own base who were counting on them to be objective. I don't think they care that they have a bias but they still want the news to tell them how it actually is not propaganda... Don't think it was the additional agents and pay raise that swayed the National Border Patrol agents to support Trump for President. Think it probably has more to do with these facts... Observation I can't help but worder about but building a shelter on Mars will take repeated physical actions and what better way to do that than with a robot like Optimus? Could it be that we've also just glimpsed the first occupants of Mars?... As you get older there's nothing more important than building or maintaining strength and stability (balance). This is something most people seem to know intuitively but taking action to exercise every day never seems to be a priority... Hard to argue he's wrong... Do robots even need spacesuits?... I don't ask for much - all I want is for the day after the election Joe Bidden and Kamala Harris pointing at each other screaming, "You ruined my legacy"... Maybe it's the fact that SpaceX is non-union or that Elon Musk is clearly supporting Donald Trump over Kamala Harris but for neither Biden or Harris to salute SpaceX for catching the Super Heavy basically with "chops-ticks" makes them both look petty and phony... Sunday was Drake Maye's first game as the Patriots starter where he went 20-33 for 243 yards and 3 TD's. In his first NFL start the top QB in this year's draft Caleb Williams went 14-29 throwing for just 93 yards and no TD's for the Bears. So I'd encouraged especially with a favorable schedule coming up...
