Interesting: boxer Louis L' Amour says that the term "punch drunk" never existed before the invention of the boxing glove while UFC commentator Joe Rogan also insists that bare knuckle fighting is much safer than MMA. May be something to that... UPS is replacing FedEx as the primary air package provider for the US Postal Service after a 20-year partnership. Seems strange to announce the change on April 1st though... Speaking of terms, the phrase "pulp fiction" comes from the quality of the cheaper magazines that used wood-pulp paper. It was later included for the cheaply made movies... Currently reading about Drake's Passage and it's not anything I want any part of... Seems at least half of billboard ads in South Carolina are for injury lawyers while about 10% are for adult superstores. What ever happened to ”Jesus Saves?”… Think I’d like my last words to be, “I’m the real king of England.” Think that would be funny… Learn something new every day: five of the men who died with George Custer were members of the Vatican Guard. That would make an interesting book... Arlington National Cemetery used to be Robert E. Lee’s homestead but was taken to bury the dead after the Battle of Cold Harbor near the end of the Civil War. The US Quartermaster asked permission and was granted the right by US Secretary of War Stanton the same day he was asked. The need was so great and the anger at Robert E. Lee was so intense… Question that will keep me up at night: do wide load trucks have to stop at weigh stations? How do they manage that?… Heard commercial advertising the necessary tools needed to get back to be the man you used to be. They never advertise what they are selling. Talk about trying to sell you a pig in a poke. They seem to be going after the “male enhancement” crowd… If you wanted to get away with pranking anyone today would be the day because most people put their guards back down after yesterday. But if you try - say goodbye to your credibility…
