Would it be ironic or funny if Fulton County GA District Attorney Fani Willis went big game hunting after Donald Trump only to get impeached herself? Things are not looking good for Fani... Scientists on both sides of the Atlantic in America, England and in Germany during World War II were driven by the fear that the "other" side was going to get the atomic bomb first and use it on them. Today the Chinese and Russians seem to be driven by fear while the US seems mostly complacent. Not optimal... Heh Heh… Redditt is seeking a valuation of $5 billion in their IPO which is below their current valuation of about $4.5 billion. They are hoping for a March IPO... Not sure why but you never seem to see reruns of the show Family Ties... Who knew? the idea of universal basic income actually originated with a 1939 paper by Milton Friedman of all people... No idea how but somehow my email ended up on an Emily's List distribution and now I don't know who Emily was but I hope to God she was aborted... Heh Heh… Naval Ravikant advises that "...accountability is a double-edge thing. It allows you to take credit when things go well and to bear the brunt of failure when things go badly." The age of the Internet seems to go hand in hand with anonymity and a general loss of accountability. People need to be personally responsible for both their successes and failures... Just as an aside but I have a blog on Blogger (owned by YouTube which in turn is owned by Google) and one of the things they do is "Labels" but two of the labels they seem to refuse to automatically recognize are Victor Davis Hanson and Tucker Carlson both of which were recognized at one time. I'm sure their political stances have nothing to do with it (sarcasm off)... Milton Friedman believed in school vouchers and I can agree with that... Robert Oppenheimer actually got involved in the American nascent atomic program before the US actually entered the war and before the Manhattan Program was actually created. It is true the Ernest Lawrence did personally recommend him to the program because he valued his opinion on the subject despite his left leanings... For what its worth - I'm slightly larger than 49ers QB Brock Purdy...
