With Trump being indicted, will this revive the is it shaped like a mushroom debate? A huge beautiful mushroom. You've never seen a mushroom so big... The phrase in journalism has morphed from "Follow the money" to "Don't jeopardize the money." Which succinctly explains the state of "journalism" today... Who knew? When producer Alex Suskind was looking to cast the lead in the 1978 movie Superman - Muhammad Ali was briefly considered for the role that eventually went to Christopher Reeve... And just like that - the news of the QAnon Shaman being released from jail completely got flushed down the memory hole... Google, like most $1.3 trillion companies, is trying to cut down on costs and overhead by cutting back on employee staplers. There's a Milton Waddams joke in there somewhere... I'm not on Twitter a lot but when I do find myself on there wasting too much time often now I suddenly find my timeline full of accounts I don't recognize. It's as if I've run out of the content I wanted from the people I follow and the algorithm starts chucking random accounts at me as filler. That's when I know its time for a Twitter break... With Trump being indicted in NYC over aspects of the Stormy Daniels case, amazing how the name Michael Avenatti is nowhere to be found in the news. Amazing. It's as if Disney is now remaking this movie and Avenatti has been recast as a black District Attorney... Interesting - this week in 1995 Amazon sold its very first item. It was a book on artificial intelligence... Speaking of Trump and Twitter - just noticed that the former President has a Blue Check. Does that mean he's paying the $7 a month to Elon Musk or did he get grandfathered in? Inquiring minds want to know... You learn something new every day: a group of butterflies is called a kaleidoscope... Congrats to the UConn Huskies men's basketball team for winning the National Championship. Too bad so many on the East Coast didn't stay up to watch the game because it started at 9:00 PM...
