Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.
Seems like more people are concerned with the teams that got left out of March Madness than about the colleges that actually made it. But woe to anyone who mentions expanding the field... Wait what? Apple is looking to partner with Google to possibly implement their Gemini AI into their iPhones? Haven't they been paying attention to how badly Gemini AI has been received by the public? This would be a placing the new U2 album on everyone’s iPhone without permission level self-own by Apple... Whatever you do - don’t mess with Jeff… I haven't filled out a bracket for years and fully intend to keep up that streak alive this March Madness too... Have to believe that many of those in the Senate or Congress saying they are resigning or not seeking re-election and claiming it's because of growing lack of decorum in DC are actually resigning because they know they cannot win an election unless they lie and cheat and that ship has sailed for many... Japanese wisdom… Hill I'll die on! The quality of the teachers is much more important than the quality of a building for education and the closer a school is to your home the better for the child, especially a grade school kid... Sports Illustrated was purchased by Minute Media which among other things owns The Players Tribune. I have a different sense of humor but I found it amusing Pat Forde possibly working for Derek Jeter... Went to bed not knowing the verdict of the Supreme Court taking up the case of the AG of Missouri suing the federal government over censoring Covid information that was true. Figure that will be announced today but I think we know which way the court will rule. Who will have to pay a real cost is the real question… Currently reading a couple of chapters of Louis L’Amour’s Memoir Education of a Wandering Man a day so you’re bound to see content from him pop up on these pages or on my blog for the foreseeable future. Really enjoying the book!…
