Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.

I remember when the government asking big tech to censor anything was illegal. Then again I've never been on Facebook... Who knew? Rhode Island has gone the longest of any state without putting anyone to death. They outlawed the death penalty in 1852... For anyone who says that Patrick Mahomes is better than Tom Brady. Tom also beat him in the AFC Championship game and was 2-0 all-time against Mahomes in the playoffs... Invoking the 25th Amendment to impeach President Joe Biden for dementia may not be an effort to get rid of Biden but instead a political move to get Democrats to vote to keep Biden on the record so citizens can see where they stand when it comes to election time... Reportedly Dunkin Donuts is going to sell those track suits from the Super Bowl ad with Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Tom Brady for $60 for the entire suit starting today. Good price but I'm going pass... The moment my state votes for a Socialist is the moment I move to another state. If my country does it that's the moment I apply for dual citizenship... Admit that when I saw JJ Watt's new hairdo on Sunday my first thought was of Jerry Seinfeld's puffy shirt. Both were mistakes but inadvertently funny... One of the things I'm curious about is  doing a player comparison between Kobe and Dr. J to see how they stack up. Still say Kobe is about the same as John Havlicek but just from this era and has better PR. How does he stack up against Julius Erving?... Speaking of Super Bowl ads - when the Volkswagen ad came on my girlfriend instinctively said, "Those crooks" because she had a Jetta and they lied about the emissions and had to give out a huge settlement but they didn’t bother putting that in their ad. I didn't bother to mention to her that the company was started under Hitler... Now that Ben Affleck is doing ads isn't the next logical choice Aflac?... As bad as the week was for Joe Biden it was good for both Donald Trump and RFK Jr. Obviously Kennedy has a very well accepted Super Bowl ad that reminded people of his Democratic roots and many of whom may vote for him. For Trump the case against him in Georgia is imploding and DA Fani Willis may be removed or even jailed while the SCOTUS put him back on the ballot in Colorado (easy to see that was a politically motived hitjob)...
