So Mitch McConnell is stepping down as Republican Minority Leader and this comes on the heels of multiple gay porn videos being filmed in the Senate chamber. I'm sure this is just a coincidence. But he has seemed kind of shaken ever since then... They say that when someone shows you who they are - believe them. Google showed us who they are long ago and that's leftwing ideologues. Many thought they abandoned the phase "Don't be evil" because they invested in military robots but I think it was because they knew what being on the left really meant... Whoever the Celtics have to play in the playoffs I hope it's an Eastern Division foe - Boston is 15-1 against them so far this year... In my mind I now associate the NYT with just three letters like SNL because they too have become a joke... You would have to have a heart of stone not to laugh at Mayor Eric Adams begging off NYC being a sanctuary city as the realities of having to pay the bill for illegals comes due. Not adjusting his moral compass though - so screw him... Atlanta DA Fani Willis' Bluetooth nickname is Gorilla Grip Pussy. Edit: Sorry got this from a cli[p claiming to be about Willis’ phone but it was from a different trial. Mea Culpa!... Google's parent Alphabet lost an estimated $70 billion in stock value due to the release of their Gemini AI. It was ultra-woke and people mocked it and traders sold the stock. Go woke - go broke... At first the phase "the most transparent administration in history" was used non-ironically to describe the Obama Administration. Then it was used ironically as it proved wholly untrue. Nobody has ever claimed that about Joe Biden's administration... Part of me wants to reread James Clavell's book Shogun now that they are making a new miniseries of it. Nothing beats the original book. Clavell's book Noble House remains in my mind perhaps the best work on the thinking of the Chinese and the CCP I've read (and it was a small part of the story)... Florida may join Italy in banning the sale of fake meat. Good for them... "If you spent the money on fighting climate change instead of going to the coffee shop just one day a month - we could pay for the fight against climate change." Yeah - I'm not giving up Dunkin Donuts even for a day...
