Fitch downgraded China's outlook to negative which follows a similar move by Moody's in December. You can't trust any economic news from the CCP but I think you can trust Fitch and Moody's... Many are commenting on NPR’s Senior Editor Uri' Berliner’s critical take on the publicly funder network and how biased they’ve become. My issue has long been the “N” in NPR is false and their reporting is only geared to a small percentage of the country and not “National” at all. Why should the nation as a whole be paying for their propaganda?… Reading a description of Leo Tolstoy that described him as “a notably unsuccessful student who lived a dissolute life.” Well me and Leo had that in common… Learn something new every day: seeding for NCAA Men's Basketball didn't exist until 1979 - the year Bird and Magic faced off in the championship game. Don't think I paid attention before then and assumed seedings always existed... Reminder that the laptop did belong to Hunter Biden and there was child porn on the laptop. Joe Biden has defended Hunter and kept him from being prosecuted. If you vote for Biden you are supporting pedophilia... Uri Berliner’s criticism in his Free Press article may be the push to finally get NRP defunded after the 2024 election. They can all blame it on Trump on their way out the door but who will notice (their ratings are awful)… I fully support Todd Helton election to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Helton has many critics because he played his home games at Coors Field in Denver which is considered a launching pad but his road OPS was higher (.886 to .857) than George Brett’s career OPS and nobody criticizes Brett’s well deserved selection. Helton’s was deserved too… Aaron Rodgers is just 2,300 yards behind Dan Marino for career passing yards and should pass him this season. Used to be Marino was the gold standard for passing in the NFL but if Rodgers passes him then Ben Roethlisberger, Phillip Rivers, and Matt Ryan will be also ahead of him and Elo Manning, and Matt Stafford will be directly below him on the list. Talk about inflation… Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee was quotes as saying, “The truth is that Elvis is more alive than journalism is today.” Perhaps he needs to check out some of the “new” media journalists like on The Free Press, Matt Taibbi’s Racket, Glenn Greenwald, Substack, or Tucker Carlson just to name a few. If he’s referring to “old” corporate media journalism then I don’t disagree…
