NPR gets accused of bias and losing the public’s trust in favor of propaganda by Editor Uri Berliner and promptly suspends him for his act of “journalism.” Berliner quietly accept NPR’s 5-day unpaid suspension and then resigns after 25-years with the organization. Should be noted that none of Berliner’s factual criticisms of NPR were actually rebuked by the organization - just proven true by their actions… Blake Griffin has retired from the NBA after averaging 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists for his career. Worth noting that Griffin last played in the league last year as a bit player for the Celtics. Blake is a nice guy and a 6-time All-Star but not a Hall of Fame player... People are worried about Tesla because their revenue (and stock price) is down. To me the explanation is simple - their market in China has declined as Chinese EV manufacturers are selling more EV's in China (do you suspect they may be stealing Tesla's technology to achieve this?), people are holding off on buying a new Tesla as they wait for the Cybertruck to become generally available, and the public as a whole has cooled to the idea of EV's. Before you turn on Tesla though remember they are still the only company that turns a profit on each EV sold and ask if you know anyone in the West who would trust the quality of a Chinese made EV no matter the price... Might as well be… Waiting on the headline that says WNBA's low TV ratings and attendance explain glaring gender pay disparity with NBA. Honestly - when's the last time you watched or attended an WNBA game?... Don't be surprised if defunding NPR and PBS becomes a big campaign issue. Now that the Children's Television Workshop sold Sesame Street to HBO they won't have Big Bird around to protect them anymore either... Maybe the jiujitsu move would not be to change election day to April 16th but instead to change tax day to the day after the elections in November... Louis L' Amour wrote that, "Politics is the art of making civilization work." He also wrote that politics is the art of compromise. That art seems to have been lost these days... Democrat Senator Sumer’s maneuver to get impeachment proceedings against Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas dismissed without a trial all but guarantees that Mayorkas’s behavior with illegal immigration and open borders becomes a top campaign issue. Nice move Chuck… You'll know if the Golden State Warriors dynasty is finally over when Apple does a “documentary" on them. Look for them to blame Steve Kerr for all their championships if it comes out... If everyone can have their own truth, as NPR's CEO Katherine Maher says, what do we need a news organization like NPR to report the “truth” for? Defund NPR - no need for the taxpayer to be funding this crap...
