Joe Biden's nicknames have gone from "Crooked Joe," to "Let's Go Brandon," to "POTUS in name only." These nicknames keep getting sadder over time as he becomes more and more decrepit... I'll say it again but for most Catholics its all about attendance. To be a good Catholic you have to have a good attendance record at mass. They should make the person with the best attendance record the new pope or at least create a new position and call it "the Cal Ripken of Church"... There is a very real possibility that the longshoreman's strike backfires and people ignore or don't feel many consequences from the strike much like they for the most part ignored the strike by Hollywood writers. Sales of domestically made vehicles and products may increase because they don't need to be shipped in, China can just use a Pacific route to ship goods instead, while EU nations can fly them into the country. This even may expedite ports on the East Coast automating their offloading process even more than before the strike. It's a possibility... Kamala Harris can avoid real-world interviews and questions but she cannot ignore real-world events and at some point she'll have to comment on them. That's what has her campaign panic stricken... Slightly surprised that nobody has changed Trevor Lawrence's Wikipedia page to say he has the nickname of "the great white hope" because that seems fitting... It's easy to see losses from East Coast ports and companies associated with them being made up by increasing revenues from train traffic from the West Coast or Mexican ports, increased trucking (good for the Teamsters bad for the IFU), and more and more airline traffic... The Pac 12 is adding Gonzaga for basketball but they still need an 8th football member to make it back to being an official conference. Who’s it going to be?... Men who had their genitals removed used to be known as "eunuchs" but know they're now called "transgender." Don't remember eunuchs wanting to use the women's bathroom though... You don't hear much about this (wonder why) but Republican Steve Garvey is leading the Senate race against Adam Schiff to replace Diane Feinstein as a California rep in the Senate... I would so listen to an AI podcast of Norm Macdonald and Benjamin Franklin reading the news of the day. They could have one AI generated historical guest each week...
