Recent study showed that only .4% of the degrees awarded in 2019-2020 were in gender, ethnic, cultural, and group studies. Just .4% seems pretty low but consider the outsized influence that minority has overall in the higher education space. College science professors get crucified for saying there's only two sexes and now even Supreme Court nominees refuse to say what a woman is. Why are we listening to that .4%?... Pretty sure if you taught an AI how to spot potential illegal activity by simply examining reported income versus expenditures and assets of an individual that the AI would identify most of Congress as criminals. No doubt in my mind... Those damn snitching taxidermists... Notre Dame is a 17-point underdog this weekend against Ohio State but stranger things have happened on opening weekend in college football (look at last year and Oregon defeating the Buckeyes as Exhibit A). If that upset were to happen wouldn't Notre Dame have to be moved up to #1 in all the polls? No other team would have a better quality win until maybe later in the season. Just saying... If I were President I'd sign an Executive Order stating that whatever the random audit rate set to investigate taxpaying citizens is then the rate for federal employees would be triple that audit rate. See how anxious the deep state gets about expanding the IRS then... When considering the outsized influence a tiny minority can have consider that in Afghanistan only .02% of the population were members of the Taliban. Also remember only .02% of the population of the United States are graduates of Ivy League colleges... The Inflation Reduction Act in one image... Stanford opens up their college football season this weekend against Colgate. Almost automatic win for Stanford and I'm guessing a good payday for Colgate. Also guessing that many Colgate seniors may be as interested in touring the Stanford campus for a potential post-graduate MBA or other programs as they are in playing the game...
