Would be interesting to see a list of A-list celebrities and billionaires who attended the Kentucky Derby on Saturday and then the F1 race in Miami on Sunday traveling to both by private jet. Then to take that list to see what those people had to say publicly about climate change in the past... My dad was an Irish immigrant who insisted that NBA games were fixed. I've now officially become my dad... Heh heh - awesome!… Bill Gates recently said that COVID was just a stronger flu that mainly affected the elderly and those with multiple comorbidities. He also still insists that he didn't know Jeffrey Epstein was a pedophile even though Gates was hanging out with him after Epstein was a felon convicted for being a pedophile. Bill Gates has zero credibility and is an awful human being... May seem strange or impossible to many today but back in the early 1990's serious sports fans had a choice they had to make every night at 11:00 PM - whether to get their sports highlights and news from CNN or from ESPN's SportsCenter. ESPN eventually won that battle (and the war) simply by making SportsCenter an hour long. CNN wouldn't do that. And now sports is the last thing you think of when CNN comes to mind... Human Centipedes for Peace - band name or the next mode of Democratic party protests?... Predicting right now that the broadcast of Tom Brady's first game as play-by-play analyst will be among the top 10 most watched regular season NFL games of all time... Trying to decide if Kamala Harris State of the Union speeches would be horrifying or the highest level of unintentional comedy. Probably both... Savoir Faire is everywhere! If you get that reference right away then be sure to renew your AARP membership... Would be curious to know how Philadelphia 76ers fans feel about trading away Al Horford now... Old enough to remember when the American Left wanted us to be more like Sweden. When it comes to abortion Sweden allows it to be a woman's choice up until the 18th week of pregnancy. Abortion is not allowed if the fetus is viable outside the womb which normally would be in the 22nd week. Guessing many in Sweden would look at the American Left's abortion demands as barbaric... It would be amusing if Tom Brady gave up part of his $37.5 million per year salary with Fox to allow the network to sign Julian Edelman as the sideline reporter for his broadcasts. The more things change - the more they stay the same. Seriously that chemistry would be great on TV... As always if this column has made you smile or think - don't be afraid to hit the like button. It seems sports is starting to be last thing on ESPN’s mind as well. Having won the war, they are losing the peace by becoming more like CNN all the time…
