Miscellaneous thoughts and observation.
Have to hand it to Donald Trump - he really knows how to pick opponents. Now it's Trump vs Harvard and the Ivy League schools. Is there anyone more disliked by the average American than Harvard these days? Now the Democrats are supporting illegal immigrant gangs, transgenders playing female sports, and Harvard. Who's giving the DNC marketing advice?... He has a real point... Reminder that universities and schools are granted tax exempt status because they are supposed to be acting for the "public good." If instead they are acting as a farm system for one political party shouldn't they lose that status?... Revising my stance: no longer think people running for federal office should have to pass the same exam that immigrants take to become US citizens - think every high school senior should have to pass it in order to get a degree... Good life advice... Will Elon Musk make Grok coin or DOGE coin the legal currency of Mars? Will that also make people on Earth want to own it for the peculiarity and distinctiveness reasons?... OK I'll say it! I don't think Shedeur Sanders will be a very good pro in the NFL... Good advice - I should try this. But Naval Ravikant's advice to lie quietly and empty your mind is also good. He says you'll either find yourself meditating or fall back to sleep... California is suing the Trump Administration over tariffs which they say are detrimental to the state’s economy. The simple solution would be to have Treasury Secretary Bessent go on Gavin Newsome’s podcast to explain how tariffs work. Newsome would then agree and say whoever brought this lawsuit was wrong… More good life advice to live by…. Still say that any tax-exempt that pays any employee more than the President of the United States should be taxed. If they have the money to pay high salaries - they have the money to pay taxes…
