Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.

The proposed merger between JetBlue and Spirit Airlines was blocked by a federal judge to which I say - good! Spirit deserves to die a natural death. Have never seen a worse run company... Funny that people don’t trust machine vote counting because they can’t trust the politicians (with good reason) but Lottery machines always seem to work… Heh heh… Still say that if I were President for a day I'd sign an Executive Order saying that all military bases in the US must also be equipped with a small nuclear reactor to insure adequate power in case of emergencies. If a state denied the nuclear plant they would lose the base. Simple. Their choice. It would make SMB's feasible over night and make the USA energy independent with one stoke of the pen... So how's your winter of death going? Funny but the White House stopped talking about it now... I feel seen... There should be a get out of jail free card if anyone uses the term "vote or die." You should get a night out drinking with no repercussions... Out of curiosity - how many people use a Lottery machine on an average day vs how many votes get cast on the average election day?… Reminder that the Latin phrase "pura vita" literally means "pure life" but in modern parlance simply means "cool." We should use that term more often... Strange but 100 years ago people didn't even know that photons existed. Now their existence is taken for granted. What will be taken for granted 100 years from now... Heh heh - how bout dem Cowboys! They're retaining Mike McCarthy for another year. Probably means Bill Belichick turned them down...
