The confirmation of Tulsi Gabbard ran along party lines 52-48 with Mitch McConnell the lone politician breaking ranks to vote against Gabbard. Seriously its time for someone in Kentucky to step up and run against Mitch McConnell. Perhaps the specter of someone shadowing his every move and vocally criticizing stunts like yesterday’s “No” vote will get the 82-year old to put an end to these “look at me” moments… After thinking about JD Vance's speech at the AI summit I'm convinced there's a battle of "good" AI vs "evil" AI in the world and that the US under Donald Trump using AI powered DOGE is clearly on the side of "good" AI. And that JD Vance will only continue that pursuit of "good" AI under his administration... Recently began to reread the book Atlas Shrugged and I forgot that the first chapter not only began with the words, “Who is John Gault?” but ended with the same question… Donald Trump secured the release of American teacher Mark Fogel who was being held prisoner in Russia for the past 3-years. Good work by the President but I can’t stop but wonder if this was a prelude to a peace summit on the Ukraine War. The release does come just before the announcement Trump will meet Putin in Saudi Arabia to discuss peace... Seeing Donald Trump and Elon Musk in the Oval Office for a press conference reminds me that one man put his name on everything he built while the other put his name on nothing. Not a comment on either path but just an observation... Meta reportedly lays off 3,600 workers. Left quickly blames Elon Musk... Today being Chuck Yeager's birthday let me remind people that the US Air Force should rename one of their bases after him. I'd support that 100%... Words I doubt you'll ever hear, "Welcome to the stage Kamala. Don't forget to tip your waitresses or bartenders"... Reminder that JD Vance named his son Vivek. Could that be a foreshadowing of his choice of VP if he runs for President in 2028?... Female Night Demons would be a good name for a band...
