Funny you mention Tulsi Gabbard as a potential 2028 Democratic presidential candidate. If you asked most Democrats who their leader is at the moment, most would be hard pressed to come up with a single name. If you asked a Republican who are to be the likely 2028 Democratic contenders, most would name all of the former Democrats that are now involved in or at least support some aspects of the Trump/Vance administration. Weird to think that the next Democratic presidential candidate would come out of the current Republican administration. I'm not sure how the American public would react to a sane Democrat debating a sane Republican on the merits that the vast majority of America agrees on!
